Yes. Creating an account is free and needs no card or payment details. A free account gives you 20 questions in every subject, drawn from the same bank paying subscribers use — with the full explanation for each one.

Every feature works on a free account too: practice mode, timed exam simulations, saved tests, notes, bookmarks and progress tracking. Paying unlocks the rest of the questions, not the rest of the app.

All three banks, in full — 2,427 PPL questions, 5,739 CPL and 12,368 ATPL, which is 20,534 questions across 37 subjects, each with its own chapters.

The library and the subject list on the home page show how many questions each individual subject holds right now.

With the toggle at the top of the library, saved tests and progress pages. Your choice is remembered on your device and applies to all three, so switching in one place switches the others. All three banks are on offer to everyone whatever they have bought — what your plan changes is how much of each one opens, not which ones you can see.

Every question is explained in both English and বাংলা. You can switch between the two on the explanation tab of any question — no separate plan, no extra cost.

Not yet — the app is in preparation. In the meantime PilotsBD works in your phone’s browser exactly as it does on a laptop, and your progress is stored against your account, so you can start a session on one and finish it on the other.

40 hours for a PPL, 200 for a CPL — 150 on helicopters — and 1,500 for an ATPL, or 1,000 on helicopters. The minimum age, education and medical class for each licence, along with the Student Pilot Licence, Instrument Rating and Flight Instructor Rating around them, are set out licence by licence on how to become a pilot, with every figure cited to ANO-1 — the Air Navigation Order that has governed licensing since 2024, replacing the Civil Aviation Rules 1984.

Nine technical subjects, and the same subject names come back at PPL, CPL and ATPL with more depth each time. The official CAAB syllabus runs to 115 pages and most of it will not apply to you, so our syllabus pages filter it down to the topics your licence and aircraft category are actually examined on.

Two things are on sale. All modules opens the whole bank — every PPL, CPL and ATPL subject. PPL only opens the PPL bank in full and costs less, and it is the right choice if you are working towards your Private Pilot Licence and nothing beyond it yet.

Both include every question added while the plan is running, and neither renews automatically. The two ladders sit side by side on the pricing page — use the toggle above the cards to switch between them.

You get the PPL bank in full, plus the same 20 free questions in every ATPL and CPL subject that every account gets — choosing the smaller plan never takes the free preview away. The bank toggle keeps showing all three too, so you can look around ATPL and CPL and see exactly what an all-modules plan would open.

Yes to both. Subscriptions add up rather than replace one another, so a PPL plan bought in March and an all-modules plan bought in June both count, and each runs out on its own date. Your account page lists every plan that is live and what each one unlocks.

Sign in, open the pricing page, and type it into the coupon box under the plan cards. The prices update in place, so you see the discount before you pay. A code has to be checked against your account, which is why you need to be signed in first — and some codes are for particular plans only. If yours does not cover a card, that card keeps its normal price and says so underneath, rather than failing at the last step.

bKash is the usual way. Sign in, open the pricing page, choose a plan, and Send Money to the bKash number shown there. Then submit the number you sent from and the bKash TrxID on the same page.

Bank transfer, Wise, PayPal and Revolut are accepted as well — contact us and we will set it up for you. That is the route to take if you are paying from outside Bangladesh.

No card is needed, and we never see or store your bKash PIN — only the transaction ID you type in.

A person checks every payment against the bKash record, which is usually done within a few minutes. You get an email the moment it is confirmed, and your full access is live from that moment.

If a payment cannot be matched it is rejected and you get an email explaining why, so you can correct it and submit again. You can also see the status of your last submissions on your account page.

Submit again with the correct one. Each bKash TrxID can only ever be recorded once, so a genuine transaction is never counted twice, and a wrong ID is simply rejected. If you are stuck, email support@pilotsbd.com with the sender number and the time of the transaction.

No. Nothing is charged automatically and no payment details are kept on file. A plan runs for the number of days you paid for and then simply ends — you decide whether and when to buy again.

Your account goes back to being a free account. You keep full use of the site and of the 20 free questions in each subject; the rest of the bank is locked until you buy again.

Nothing is deleted, nothing is closed, and you do not need to sign up again. Your expiry date is shown on your account page at any time.

No. Every answer you have given, your accuracy by subject and chapter, your saved tests, your notes, your bookmarks and your flagged questions are stored against your account, not against your subscription. Expiry changes which questions you can open — it never touches your history.

No — everything is exactly where you left it. As soon as the new payment is approved you get back your full answer history, so the Unseen and Previously wrong filters still know what you have done, your progress charts continue from where they stopped, and a half-finished saved test reopens at the exact question you stopped on.

The one thing to know: while your access is lapsed, a saved test built from paid questions cannot be opened and shows as unavailable. It comes back untouched the moment your new plan is approved.

A new plan starts on the day it is approved and runs for its full number of days from then. Time that passed while you had no subscription is not added on.

Renewing early loses you nothing, though: if you buy while your current plan is still running, the new days are added on top of the time you have left rather than replacing it. That runs per module — a PPL renewal extends your PPL time and an all-modules renewal extends your all-modules time, so the two never take days from one another.

Three ways to work through a subject. Practice tells you whether each answer was right straight away, with the explanation there and then. Exam is a timed simulation: you choose how many questions and how many minutes, and you see your result and the explanations only when the paper is finished.

Study skips the quiz altogether and lays the questions out with their answers and explanations already showing, five to a page — the mode to use for a first read through a chapter.

Yes. Use Save & exit and the session is kept in Saved tests with your answers and your place in it. Reopening it puts you on the first question you have not answered yet, in the same question order. Answers are also saved as you go, so a lost connection or a closed tab does not cost you the session.

Yes. When you set up a session you can choose the question pool: All questions, Unseen, Previously wrong, Saved or Flagged, and narrow it to particular chapters. “Previously wrong” follows your most recent attempt at each question, so a question drops out of it once you get it right.

Yes — use the search box at the top of the library. Type any words from a question to find it, or type its number, like #10250, to go straight to it. Search covers all three banks at once, so a number finds its question without you having to know which bank it belongs to.

The star bookmarks a question, the flag marks one to come back to, and the note keeps your own writing against it. All three are private to you and stay with your account. They are also filters: when you set up a session you can practise only your Saved questions, or only your Flagged ones.

Yes, the bank is added to and corrected over time, and a paid plan includes everything published while it is running — including questions added after you paid.

One device at a time. Signing in on a second device asks you whether to log the first one out; confirming it moves your access across immediately. You can switch as often as you like — phone, tablet and laptop are all fine — but the account is personal to you and cannot be shared or used by two people at once.

Yes, once you are signed in. The sun and moon button in the header switches between light and dark, and your choice is remembered on that device. The landing page is always light.

Use forgot password and we email you a link to set a new one. If you signed up with Google, sign in with the Google button instead — that account has no separate password.

No. Because every subject can be tried free before you pay, all payments are final. Money we received in error — a duplicate transaction, or a payment that was verified but never activated — is returned; the full terms are in our refund policy. If something is not working, report it and we will fix it.

Deleting your account is permanent. Your profile, your answer history, your saved tests, your notes and your bookmarks are erased and cannot be restored, and any remaining subscription time is lost with no refund. If you only want to stop for a while, just stop — leaving the account in place costs nothing and keeps your progress.
