Circuit, landing আর তার পরে

Join আর circuit-এর call

• Pilot: “(type) (position) (level) [information X] for landing”।
• Tower: “join (circuit-এর position) runway (number), wind …, QNH …, traffic …”; right-hand circuit হলে বলে দেবে “join right hand downwind”। বা “make straight-in approach”।
• Circuit-এ: “downwind”, তার উত্তরে “number 2, follow the Cessna on base”।
• Long final: final-এ turn যদি touchdown থেকে 4 NM (7 km)-এর বেশি দূরে হয়, বা straight-in approach-এ 8 NM (15 km)-এ। দুই ক্ষেত্রেই 4 NM-এ আবার “final”।
• Spacing-এর জন্য tower বলতে পারে “make short approach”, “make long approach (extend downwind)”, “orbit right”, “make another circuit”।

Landing আর তার পরে

• “Cleared to land”; একাধিক runway-তে runway সহ। Training-এ “cleared touch and go” বা “make full stop”।
• “Request low approach” (runway বরাবর নিচে নেমে না ছুঁয়ে উঠে যাওয়া) বা “request low pass” (tower-এর পাশ দিয়ে, ground থেকে কিছু দেখার জন্য, যেমন gear)।
• Gear নিয়ে সন্দেহ থাকলে low pass-এর পরে tower বলে: “landing gear appears down” বা “right wheel appears up”।
• Missed approach: ATC বলে “go around”, pilot বলে “going around”।
• সতর্কতা: “caution wake turbulence”, “caution jet blast”, “caution slipstream”।
• Landing-এর পরে: “vacate left”, “take first right and contact Ground 121.9”, “when vacated contact Ground”, “expedite vacating”।
