Taxi, hold short আর runway পার হওয়া

Taxi request-এ থাকে aircraft type (heavy হলে “heavy”), কোথায় আছ, আর কী চাও। ATC দেয় holding point আর runway, দরকার হলে পথ। আর hold instruction-এর উত্তর শুধু “holding” বা “holding short”।

Taxi request আর instruction

Request: “[type] [heavy] [location] request taxi [intentions]”। VFR হলে flight rules আর destination-ও: “… VFR to Cox’s Bazar, request taxi”।
ATC: “taxi to holding point (number) runway (number)”; বিস্তারিত দরকার হলে “taxi via (taxiway) to holding point …”, বা “take first left”, “taxi via runway 14”।
ATIS না থাকলে taxi instruction-এর সাথেই aerodrome information দেয়।
অন্য কথা: “taxi straight ahead”, “taxi with caution”, “follow (aircraft)”, “give way to (aircraft)”, “expedite taxi”, “taxi slower”।

Hold আর runway পার হওয়া

Cross runway 14, report vacated

Pilot বলবে: Crossing runway 14, wilco

Expedite crossing runway 14, traffic Dash 8, 4 miles final

Pilot বলবে: Expediting

Hold-এর instruction-এ roger বা wilco যথেষ্ট না: holding বা holding short বলতে হবে, যাতে ATC নিশ্চিত হয় তুমি থামবে।
ATC অন্য কিছু না বললে, যে taxi clearance-এর শেষ সীমা একটা runway-র ওপারে, তাতে সেই runway পার হওয়ার অনুমতিও আছে।
রাতে বা কম visibility-তে tower crossing দেখতে না পেলে সাথে “report vacated” চাইবে; বেরিয়ে পুরো clear হলে বলবে “runway vacated”।
Landing-এর পরে runway ধরে ফেরা: “request backtrack”, উত্তর “backtrack approved” বা “backtrack runway (number)”।

উদাহরণ: Dhaka-য় flying school-এর Cessna S2-ZQX, apron থেকে local training flight-এ বের হচ্ছে। ATIS information Kilo।

Step 1 Pilot: “Dhaka Ground, S2-ZQX, Cessna 152, flying school apron, information Kilo, VFR local, request taxi”

Type, location, ATIS letter, flight rules আর intention।

Step 2 Dhaka Ground: “S2-ZQX, taxi to holding point Charlie 2 runway 14 via Alfa, hold short of taxiway Bravo”

Holding point, runway, পথ, আর একটা hold short।

Step 3 Pilot: “Taxi to holding point Charlie 2 runway 14 via Alfa, holding short of Bravo, S2-ZQX”

Runway সহ taxi instruction readback, আর hold short-এর জায়গায় “holding short”।
