Wind আর RVR যেভাবে বলা হয়
Wind 140/15
Said: wind one four zero degrees one five knots
Wind 050/8
Said: wind zero five zero degrees eight knots
Wind 150/12 gust 25

RVR runway 14, 600 m
Said: RVR runway one four, six hundred metres

- Wind বলা হয় mean direction আর speed দিয়ে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ওঠানামা থাকলে তাও (“gusting”, “variable between”)।
- একাধিক RVR থাকলে ক্রম সবসময় touchdown zone, midpoint, stop end: “RVR runway 14, 600 metres, 550 metres, 500 metres”। কোনোটা না থাকলে তার জায়গায় “missing”।
Runway-র অবস্থা
ATC বলে: “runway 14 wet”, “damp”, “water patches”, “flooded (depth)”; শীতের দেশে snow, slush, ice। সাথে আরও তথ্য থাকতে পারে: “threshold displaced 300 metres due work in progress”, obstruction, windshear warning।

0.40 বা বেশি
Braking action, code: Good, 5
0.39 – 0.36
Braking action, code: Medium to good, 4
0.35 – 0.30
Braking action, code: Medium, 3

Braking action, code: Poor, 1
- Coefficient বলা হয় দুই digit-এ, decimal ছাড়া: “braking coefficient 30” মানে 0.30, medium।
- Touchdown zone, midpoint আর stop end আলাদা করে দেওয়া হতে পারে।
- “Good” মানে তুলনামূলক: control বা braking-এ সমস্যা হওয়ার কথা না, কিন্তু শুকনো পরিষ্কার runway-র মতো না।
