Day VFR, IFR আর night-এর instrument

Day VFR

• Magnetic compass; ঘণ্টা, মিনিট, সেকেন্ড দেখানো ঘড়ি।
• Sensitive pressure altimeter, ft-এ, hPa subscale সহ।
• ASI (kt), VSI, turn and slip বা turn coordinator, attitude indicator, stabilised direction indicator।
• Cockpit-এ OAT, °C-তে।
• দুইজন pilot লাগলে second pilot-এর আলাদা altimeter, ASI, VSI, turn and slip, attitude আর direction indicator।
• Flight deck-এর প্রতিটা crew-র boom microphone headset।

60 মিনিটের কম flight, একই aerodrome-এ ফেরা আর 50 NM-এর মধ্যে থাকলে কিছু gyro instrument-এর বদলে সহজ turn and slip চলে।

IFR বা night VFR: বাড়তি

• Standby altimeter।
• Heated pitot; 5,700 kg বা 9 seat-এর বেশি নতুন plane-এ pitot heat failure warning।
• দুইটা independent static system।
• রাতে আলো দেওয়া যায় এমন chart holder।

Altitude alerting: 5,700 kg বা 9 seat-এর বেশি turboprop আর সব turbojet; preselected altitude-এ পৌঁছানোর আগে, আর সেখান থেকে সরে গেলে অন্তত aural সতর্কতা। Standby horizon: 5,700 kg বা 9 seat-এর বেশি; independent power-এ অন্তত 30 মিনিট, automatically চালু, আলোকিত।

Lights: দিনে anti-collision, instrument আর cabin light, প্রতিটা crew station-এ torch। রাতে বাড়তি navigation light আর দুইটা landing light। Fuse থাকলে প্রতিটা rating-এর 10% spare, কমপক্ষে 3টা। 5,700 kg-এর বেশি হলে প্রতিটা pilot station-এ windshield wiper।
