কার জন্য নিয়ম, quality system আর ditching limit
EU-OPS Part 1 ঠিক করে commercial air transport (CAT) চালানোর নিয়ম, সেই সব operator-এর জন্য যাদের principal place of business কোনো EASA member state-এ। বাংলাদেশে একই ভূমিকা CAAB-এর নিয়মের, আর দুটোই Annex 6-এর উপর দাঁড়ানো।
যেসব flight এর বাইরে:
- Military, police বা customs-এর aeroplane।
- Parachute dropping আর fire fighting, আর সেই কাজে positioning flight-ও, যদিও সেই কাজের লোক on board।
- Aerial work, যদি crew বাদে অনধিক 6 জন সেই কাজে on board।
Simulator দিয়ে training হলে simulator approved হতে হবে, আর ব্যবহারকারীও authority-র approved।
Common language
সব crew, flight crew আর cabin crew, একে অপরের সাথে একটা common language-এ কথা বলতে পারবে, আর Operations Manual-এর যে অংশে তার duty লেখা, সেটা বুঝতে পারবে।
Quality system আর flight safety programme
- Quality system: safe operation আর airworthy plane নিশ্চিত করার জন্য। একজন Quality Manager নিয়োগ হয়, আর compliance monitoring-এর feedback যায় Accountable Manager-এর কাছে, যিনি AOC-র জন্য authority-র কাছে দায়ী।
- Accident prevention and flight safety programme, quality system-এর সাথে মেশানো যায়: risk awareness, occurrence reporting, incident আর accident evaluation, flight data monitoring।
Ditching limit
Passenger seat 30-এর বেশি এমন plane, যেটা airworthiness code-এর ditching requirement পূরণ করে না, land থেকে 120 মিনিট cruise speed-এর distance বা 400 NM, যেটা কম, তার বেশি দূরে যেতে পারবে না।
Cruise speed 240 kt। ditching requirement পূরণ না করা 50-seat plane land থেকে সর্বোচ্চ কত দূরে যেতে পারে?
120 মিনিটে 480 NM, কিন্তু 400 NM কম। তাই 400 NM।
